~ Letter from the President ~

First and foremost we at U.T.S. would like to thank all of the groups and individuals for their past participation in our program and going forward into the future.

We are working on our current slide presentation, new instructors and assistant instructors.  We have not made any changes to any of the current programs, however we did make a change in posting in-house classes and pictures on our web page.  For these postings there will be a $5.00 charge for class post and
a $25.00 charge for a picture.  We hate to add this cost but maintaining our web site comes with a cost on  our end.  If you have either of these that you want posted please send payment and information to Linda Balzer at the address which can be found on the web page or in the manual.

We are starting to get some class requests for this year, some are already posted on the web.  Keep your eyes on the schedule especially if you are due for re-certification.

One thing to keep in mind, is that over the years we have always promoted in-house training, however you CANNOT train above the level of Track Aware.  It is always tempting and fun to do sign-cutting etc., but you need to gain a lot of "on ground time" first.  As we have always said any time spent on the ground is time spent learning.

Again we would like to take this time to thank everyone for their support going forward into this year.  We at U.T.S. are looking forward to a learning and productive year for everyone, also we will be working on Certificates of Attendance for Military and Law Enforcement individuals.  Don't forget to keep your certification current by attending a class at your current level.
